This is a single episode of Suspense. I uploaded the file to replace the existing file on page 2 of the main Suspense OTR entry. Unfortunately, that file ends a trifle abruptly; it is also of inferior audio quality to the newer file available on this page. EDIT: Since uploading this, the Old Time Radio Researchers Group has released an updated set of "Suspense." It is much improved over the previous collection available on Archive.org. The new OTRR set is available here:...

BBC OTR from 1953-1959. As narrated by producer LESLIE BRIDGMONT: "The series nearly came unstuck right at the beginning, for it was tailor-made for David Tomlinson, in the role of Bliss. Tomlinson was playing in The Little Hut at the time, and when the show ended its London run, six weeks after we started, he was under contract to go on tour with it, which made it impossible for him to do the Sunday recordings. We were in a dilemma, for the programme was obviously a success. Either it had...

Adventures By Morse – 1944 The title of this series refers to the writer and director of the show, Carlton E. Morse. There were 52 episodes of this thirty-minute adventure series featuring a San Francisco detective, Captain Bart Friday, and his sidekick, Skip Turner. Captain Friday and Skip roamed the world together seeking danger and solving mysteries. The stories told bordered on the supernatural, though there was usually a rational explanation for the superbly written terror-chillers.
